In 1978, Erwin Sanchez-Flores started S&A Auto Salvage. With only a few acres of land and a few cars, he built it into a flourishing business. By the mid 1990s, it had grown to over 7 acres of land and was dismantling over 200 vehicles a year.

In 1990, Tom Gatti was hired as a Salesman and within a few years was promoted to manager. When asked how he liked being at S&A;, he replied, "Everyday is always a challenge and I had the great opportunity to learn from one of the smartest people I know [Erwin], and if I am only able to obtain half of what he has taught me, I will be a better person and a successful business owner." In 2006, after 25 successful years in business, Mr. Sanchez-Flores was ready to retire and offered Tom the opportunity to buy the business. In January 2007, S&A Salvage became Auto Parts S&A, LLC.

Today, Auto Parts S&A purchases well over 500 cars and trucks yearly, sales have tripled, and we ship parts all over North America. It is one of the most advanced salvage yards in our area. That's why our slogan is, "THIS AIN'T YOUR DADDY'S WRECKING YARD".

Here at Auto Parts S&A, we try to put our environment and community first. We provide our city and local fire departments with vehicles for training purposes. We also invest in supporting a lot of our local schools whenever we can. Tom Gatti is also a member of the Car-Part.com consulting group called the "Southern Round Table", an organization which seeks to help small auto recyclers in the South (and all over the country) better their yards and business practices in all ways possible.
